JOSUE (JOSH) PIERRE

Josue Pierre is a long time resident of Brooklyn, having lived in Crown Heights, Flatbush and East Flatbush. He attended our local public schools and is a graduate of Baruch College (CUNY). Since 2006 Josue Pierre has worked on a number of political campaigns. He was elected by the voters of the 42nd Assembly district in 2010, 2012 and 2014 to both the Democratic County Committee and the Judicial Convention. He has served as Land Use Chairman of Brooklyn’s Community Board 17, and was a Budget Delegate in the first 45th Council District Participatory Budget program.
Josue Pierre is currently the Chairman of the 42nd Assembly District Democratic State Committee and a founding member of the Shirley Chisholm Democratic Club. Josue Pierre advocates for progressive policies which will increase economic opportunities for all Brooklyn residents, MWBE/Small businesses, affordable housing and home ownership, as well as greater civic participation.
