LGBTQ+ Welcoming Housing Opportunities in NYC
Thank you so much for participating the Stonewall Community Development Corporation (SCDC) housing survey. Your input was invaluable and is informing all of the work we have been doing ever since, laying the groundwork for a movement to create more LGBTQ+-welcoming senior housing in New York City. SCDC wont rest until New York City LGBTQ+ seniors have access to safe, welcoming, affordable housing. Because you expressed interest in LGBTQ+-friendly housing opportunities, we wanted to share a message to you from our collaborators at SAGE.
SAGE, the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to LGBTQ elders, is building two affordable elder housing developments in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
At both of these LGBTQ-welcoming residences, SAGE will provide services and programming, including daily nutritious meals, through state-of-the-art SAGE Centers on the first floor of each building.
