Stonewall Village NYC – Our Virtual Community

In 2020 when the COVID-19 shutdown hit we pivoted to help five LGBTQ+ senior center partners. Within two weeks, we built each of them their own unique online “center homepage” on our online platform, Stonewall Village NYC®.  We provided full access to the platform’s interactive technologies, hosting their interactive meetings and events, and providing technical support and onboarding training for their 700 administrators, facilitators, and clients, at no charge. 

 

In 2024, we still host a weekly schedule of their events and now have become the LGTBQ+ content generator for EnLiveo – SelfHelp’s virtual senior center. This year we have original program offerings and we are looking at outreach methods to be able to reach isolated seniors, wherever they are.
