Sam Hersh

Sam Hersh is the Policy Advisor for Coastal Resiliency at the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Resiliency. In this role, he covers policy concerning long-term operations and maintenance of flood protection infrastructure and works with Federal, State, and City partners to drive a multi-billion dollar portfolio of coastal resilience infrastructure projects.
Previously Sam was an Urban Fellow with the City of New York. He has also worked in finance, economic consulting, and transportation advocacy. Sam is a graduate of Haverford College with a degree in Growth and Structure of Cities.
